Casa do Monte is a recovery of a typical Azores house, located at Caloura, Lagoa. You can find the beach, some natural pools and a fishing hamlet all in walking distance of this local accommodation.
The house has a living room, a glassed-in patio and a well-equipped kitchen for your meals. It is also equipped with cable TV and Wi-Fi. Outside you can find a large garden, with picnic tables, a water spring and a giant Araucaria whose base (covered by a deck) serves as a porch, overlooking the sea and the the islet of Vila Franca.
You can find near the house the best fish restaurant on the island, the small supermarket, the pharmacy, the bakery and other services you may need. We advise you to hire a car, as public transport is infrequent. The house is about 20 minutes from the city of Ponta Delgada and the airport.
